Why I wear a Speedo

Before you know it, your coat will be put away in the back of your closet and it will be time to start gathering your friends for a day at the pool. For this reason, I would like to take a moment here and talk about males in Speedos.
I am wondering why this article of fashion, so popular overseas, has failed to be accepted here in America.
A lot of people think that any guy who wears a bikini swimsuit is gay. Do these same people believe that if a guy wore a dress he would magically turn into a member of the opposite sex?
The benefits of wearing bikinis are numerous. For one, they are far more comfortable. Any hesitation in wearing one is a social issue, not a physical issue. Also, they force the wearer to live a healthier lifestyle, which no one can argue against.
Ease of movement, pride in the human body and less embarrassing tan lines are still more reasons to choose the bikini over baggy shorts.
So why do so few Americans wear them? Is it just blind ignorance? … Yes.
Sure, there are people who have negative reactions to guys wearing Speedos, but isn’t being comfortable and secure and therefore happier better than being controlled by other, less enlightened people?
